We use the best material on the market to meet the intended purpose of the stickers that we create. There are several different vinyl and adhesive combinations that require your attention during application to insure the best performance. These guidelines have been prepared specifically for the sets we sell, with links to pertinent guides located elsewhere on this site.

ALL APPLICATIONS: You must start with a clean surface!

We recommend preparing the surface with a gentle cleaner. We use 70% isopropyl alcohol mixed 50/50 with water and sprayed on to remove grime and light petroleum contamination. Windex and some other glass cleaners contain a chemical treatment intended to repel liquid, and may contaminate the surface for vinyl application purposes. We have had good success using Goof Off brand cleaner for metal and some plastic surfaces, which is quite effective on left over sticker adhesive residue, but must be followed up with the alcohol/water mix above.

TEST- TEST- TEST your cleaner on a concealed portion of the material that you are preparing for graphic application, to ensure the cleaner does not damage the surface.

Consider using tweezers or the edge of a razor to pick up and position stickers, because the less you touch the adhesive side the better it will stick.

If it spins, don't put a sticker on it !

- Arm Colors

Printed on 3M removable premium automotive grade vinyl, these are easy to install because although the vinyl is intended for one time use, it is re positionable during installation to insure a perfect fit. Just lift it back up if you don't like it then lay it back down. Once in place, smooth the vinyl with the pad of your finger, then go over it with the back of your fingernail with about 20# of pressure to seal the edges. The stickers will not come off by themselves, but may easily be removed without chemicals by merely lifting the edge and pulling away from the surface.
There are 5 stickers in this set, with the long stickers fitting inside of the indention located on the Phantom arms. To install, stick one side of the color stripe just inside the indention **not on the edge or over the top of the indentation** then lay it down moving toward the other side as you touch it into place, within the edges of the indentation. Once in place, smooth down as above.
The small controller sticker may be located anywhere on the unit to show correlation to the bound aircraft.
- Phantom 2 Vision Bezel Matte Black
Application: With the tips of 2 index fingers, center the sticker over the lens, then set down. Gently flatten the vinyl into place working from the center out, then use a Q-tip to apply the inside vinyl over the silver trim. On the outside, work from the center outward, and press the vinyl into place like a bottlecap. Maintain support behind the camera when applying this sticker! Use the back of a fingernail to smooth out any major creases.
- Case Logos & Graphics
- Helispot
- Warning/Reward
- Oval badges
- 'I Fly' stickers
- Clear Inspire 1 graphics
This is a high performance vinyl that is not re positionable, with an aggressive adhesive on the back. Simply position and stick down to a clean surface with the soft pad of your finger, then the back of your fingernail with approximately 20# of pressure. See the Vinyl Application Instructions for specific instructions for graphics that are supplied with transfer tape. The graphic is sandwiched in between a material liner (bottom) and transfer tape (top) that allows the entire graphic to be applied to the surface as one piece together in perfect alignment. Parts of these graphics may be cut off, removed or repositioned before application. Using masking tape to position the graphic is advisable.

Particularly well suited for smooth, non porous smooth surfaces, but will work very well with other lightly textured smooth surfaces also. If you end up with air bubbles beneath the vinyl, don't try to run it to the edge of the vinyl. Instead, pierce the bubble with the head of a sharp pin and ease the air out. Don't use the long straight edge of a razor. Alternately, the vinyl is gas permeable and the bubbles will probably outgas through the vinyl in a few days.

If applying to cases or other equipment, review Flame Treatment for specialty plastics.
- DJI Aircraft systems: Phantom, P2V, Mavic, Inspire (opaque stickers)
- LED Legends
- Phantom Control Stick

- S1, S2
- Phantom Check List
- Colorblast Pinstripe Kit
- Autel X-Star
- Yuneec Typhoon H
Each of these items is printed on 3M removable automotive grade vinyl; each piece is easy to install because although the vinyl is intended for one time use, it is re positionable during installation to insure a perfect application. Just lift it back up if you don't like it and lay it back down. The images below are suggestions for positioning the stickers according to their purpose. Once in place, smooth the vinyl with the pad of your finger, then go over it with the back of your fingernail with about 20# of pressure to seal the edges. The stickers will not come off by themselves, but may easily be removed without chemicals by merely lifting the edge and pulling away from the surface.

Note: some of the graphics are very small and may be easier to place using tweezers or the tip of a hobby knife. This will also reduce the chance of contaminating the adhesive backing. Slip the tip of the tweezers under the sticker on the carrier sheet, then lift and move into position and apply as above.
